These modifications combine the best ideas from both Diablo II and Path of Exile, two of the best ARPGs in existence. The end game has also been revamped so that more areas are worth exploring, allowing you to experience more varied content. The skill tree has been rebalanced so that skills that are underpowered and rarely used are now viable, allowing you to create many more builds than before. This Diablo II community server has one main goal: Increase build diversity and replayability with as little changes to the original experience as possible. play now wiki FAQ Trade Chat How to Install Rules Build Guides Fixes for D2 Errors Patch Notes Feedback / Report Discord Glide3DFX Submit a new post: TEXT LINK All Welcome to /r/pathofdiablo I would say ONLY build Infinity if you have something like griffons first… or if you’re mega rich and have like a dual Dream setup or something crazy like that. By the time I found my base for infinity I had 3 BERS and I could have cubed 2 of them for enigma. In short, for a sorc, infinity is for lightning builds, and lightning builds require GG gear. The one key ingredient to the build I’m missing is Griffons, but self finding that could take forever since it is so rare. You see, it seems Infinity benefits a lightning build more than others because monsters that have lightning immunity on the whole have less lightning resistance to break than say monsters with cold immunity and their cold resistance.īUT, a lightning build also relies heavily on Crescent Moon, which has no FCR, and lightning has a huge FCR breakpoint, like 115 or something, so you have to make it up with other gear. Once I crafted it, I thought “sweet I’m gonna go lightning!”. I managed to do some thresher fishing in LK, but that’s a whole other topic. It was a long road to Infinity, for the aforementioned reasons.
